It all starts with the finest cattle, and ends with a steak on your plate. Wagyu steer are like other cows in many respects. They have four legs, that reach all the way to the grassy ground underneath their meat covered bones. That is part of what makes a wagyu steak so special! No short-legged cows here.

The cow is typically referred to as a head of steer, because most cows have heads. Wagyu beef only comes from cattle that have heads. They also usually have horns. To become cattle worthy of being wagyu steaks requires eating lots of grass, and chewing the occasional cud as well. You'll also find utters, and hooves. Wagyu steak is utterly amazing!
